 Visiting the city of Aosta is a good experience to see testimonies from  the Roman era, Augustus' Arch, Porta Praetoria, Roman Theatre and the almost complete perimeter of the city walls. The City it's next to Courmayeur (30 minutes cc by car) and is a perfect way for have pleasant evening in the mountain town.

 The Aosta Valley is a privileged destination for ski mountaineering enthusiasts and the scene of major competitions such as the legendary Mezzalama Trophy. Ski mountaineering is practiced for seven months of the year, from November to June.

The great variety of itineraries allows everyone to find trips suited to their skiing and athletic ability: from climbs lasting a couple of hours on open slopes to multi-day routes on glaciers. There are many peaks that can be reached on skis, and among these there is the Gran Paradiso, the only 4000m peak entirely in Italian territory.

La Valle d'Aosta è una meta privilegiata degli appassionati di sci alpinismo e teatro di grandi competizioni come il mitico Trofeo Mezzalama, lo sci alpinismo è praticato per ben sette mesi all'anno, da novembre a giugno.

La grande varietà di itinerari consente a tutti di trovare gite adatte alla propria capacità sciistica e atletica: dalle salite di un paio d'ore su pendii aperti ai percorsi di più giorni su ghiacciai. Le vette raggiungibili con gli sci sono molte, e tra queste c'è il Gran Paradiso, unico 4000 interamente in territorio italiano.

Over 40 thousand people, coming from all over the globe, every year walk the historic paths that go around the majestic Mont Blanc, where the famous Ultra-trail® du Mont-Blanc foot race takes place in August.

Crossing the three Mont Blanc countries of Italy, France and Switzerland on foot is a unique and unforgettable experience. The Tour du Mont Blanc is a multi-day trek (7/8 days) between rocky walls, looming glaciers, pastures and prairies. Along the 170 km of the route there is a whole world to discover. On Italian territory, the undisputed protagonists are Val Vény and Val Ferret.

 Along the proposed itineraries the majesty of the scenery is truly unique. It is possible to undertake excursions suitable for all abilities, from completely flat routes to gradients with red/black difficulty. The mountain bike tour of the refuges is a different way of experiencing the nature of Courmayeur Mont Blanc, and discovering the Val Vény, the Val Ferret and of course the majestic Mont Blanc.

There are six refuges that you pass by cycling along the Tour: Rifugio Elisabetta, Rifugio Maison Vieille, Rifugio Monte Bianco, Rifugio Elena, Rifugio Bonatti and Rifugio Bertone.

Lungo gli itinerari proposti la maestosità degli scenari è veramente unica. E' possibile affrontare escursioni adatte ad ogni capacità, dai tracciati completamente pianeggianti fino a dislivelli con difficoltà rosso/nero.l Tour dei rifugi in mountain bike è un modo diverso di vivere la natura di Courmayeur Mont Blanc, e scoprire la Val Vény, la Val Ferret e naturalmente il maestoso Monte Bianco.
